Hemp Information

Before all, we’ll like to leave clear that “hemp” or “cáñamo” is not marihuana. Hemp or cáñamo is the fibber obtained from a plant known as Cannabis sativa L. It is possible to get male sample copies from this plant, which provide the fibber and contain a very low amount of THC, which is he psychoactive chemical inmarihuana and the one that gives it its stimulant and healingeffects.

The plant from which one obtains the fibber has also the typical leaf known everywhere as the “marihuana leaf”, this is why you’ll find it commonly on some of the products manufactured from hemp. The leaf image is a reference to the raw material from which the product is manufactured.

- During 4000 years we’ve been living with hemp until its prohibition (cultivation and consumption) on 1937, in EEUU.

- Anywhere in the planet hemp has been used to manufacture shoes, clothes, etc.
